Sharjah Children’s Book Fair

Ad Campaign Proposal / Character Illustrations / 2024

Sharjah Children's Reading Festival is a cultural celebration of children's literature, held annually in the Emirate of Sharjah. Organised by the Sharjah Book Authority, the event is about bringing children literature and notable authors into the region, as well as to foster the love of reading in children.

The work displayed below involves the proposal for SCRF'24 ad campaign under the slogan 'Age by Page' in English and 'نحن نكبر مع الكتب' (We Grow up with Books) in Arabic.

Books are more than just ink on paper; they are timeless companions that weave themselves into the very fabric of our lives. To reflect this idea, the SCRF mascots are depicted in different stages of their lives, growing up, page by page, with books. 2D illustrations are used to reflect the common style of illustrations found in children's books.
